Lonestar Bound "N"
Narvaez, Lisa Narvaez
I don't know much. My Grandfather is Severo Narvaez born in Gonzales, TX. Married my Grandmother Oralia Pena. They had 3 children Jose L. Narvaez, Severo Narvaez, Jr. and Evenia Narvaez. I know that my grandfather came from a big family, he doesn't talk to alot of them. I also know that my Grandfather has a brother that lives in East Los Angeles, CA., however, I don't know if he is still there. I am trying to put together a family history. Please contact if any of this matches.

Noble, John Shackleford
I am hoping someone can help me find info on my Great Great Great Grandfather. He lived in McKinney, I also know he lived in Allen, Texas.
He traveled from Kentucky with the family of JB Wilmeth.
I also know that he was a Methodist minister who either established or helped establish the Methodist Episcopal Church in McKinney? He also established the Sway Back Methodist Church in Walnut Grove Texas.
I do know that he was one of the first settlers in McKinney. I know that he died 1886 in Pilot Point Texas.
If anyone can help me I would be greatful. Thank you.

Norris, Rebecca M. A.
Hi I am looking for any information leading to the discovery of who Rebecca Margaret A. Norris was. I do know that she was born in Tyler Texas sometime around 1840's or 1850's, that she was Cherokee or Comanche...and married my Greatgreatgrandfather William Givens in 1869. They lived in Grayson Co Texas and raised a large family, including my greatgrandmother, Minnie Orena Givens. Orena is supposed to mean "Laughing Waters" according to my grandfather, Albert Sidney Hansen. He was named after his uncle Albert Sidney Givens. Minnie and her husband, John Adolphus Hansen eventually moved to California (by 1920)and settled in the Berkeley area. Albert Sidney Givens' family ended up in Washington, where his greatgranddaughter, Lynn Ferguson now lives. Albert taught his own daughter to ride horses bareback...like the Indians did many years ago...this was passed onto her daughter and finally onto Lynn, who now teaches children to ride bareback on an Indian reservation in Washington State. I hope to go visit her some day...It is obvious that we are part Native American, but we know nothing about Rebecca or her family...please let me know if you can help????? Thank you, Kathy Ramirez Kspiritwmn@aol.com
