Blueberry Crisp
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 cups blueberries
Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
Mix topping well and set aside. Combine sugar, shortening and egg in a mixing bowl. Stir in milk. Sift flour with salt and baking powder and add to batter.
Blend berries and spoon into a greased and floured 9" square baking pan. Sprinkle with crumb toping and bake at 350 degrees for
45 minutes.
